UK Expats Have no Regrets |
The majority of
British expatriates who have bought property in Spain, one of the most
popular destinations for people leaving the UK, or other countries are happy
with the decision they made, according to a new survey...
Overseas insurance provider BUPA International found that eight out of ten
people that have moved abroad say it is the best decision they have ever
made.
BUPA’s overseas activity proves that Spanish property is one of the biggest
lures for British investors, as the Iberian country is among a group of
nations that provide over a third of its business, along with Ireland,
Thailand and Australia among others.
Paula Covey, head of marketing for BUPA International, said: "These
findings, which come a year after BUPA International almost doubled in size,
are in line with the growth we are seeing as more people choose to make
another country their home."
There are also a number of markets which Ms Covey said the company is keen
to develop, including Latin America, China, India and Russia.
BUPA International claims to be the world’s largest expatriate health
insurer, selling insurance to more than eight million people in over 190
countries.
